I had:
- 3 ambulance trips
- 10 hospital trips and stays
- 1 anaphylaxis drug reaction
- Several continuous drug and supplement reactions to anything I tried which left me bed bound for months and in the worst pain in my entire life
- Countless seizures for hours at a time
- Several drop attacks and full body paralysis
- Passed out completely and almost went to the ICU during a seizure
- Was never closer to ending it all because of the extreme pain and trauma and medical gaslighting the last two years
I also:
- Was finally diagnosed with EDS, FND, and non epileptic seizures, and finally can end my fight for answers and being desperate to know what the hell is going on
- Had some of the most amazing medical treatment in between the horrific ones
- Became closer than I ever have to my family
- Rediscovered my voice and passions
- Am getting back into fashion, modeling, writing, speaking, and advocacy
- Shared my story and writing with two major organizations for EDS awareness and DV awareness
- Have had the best treatment I ever had in my life from a guy outside of my family for the first time, after 2 other guys left me after going into the hospital before
- Have laughed more than I can remember
- Started the grieving process
- Am slowly finding anything that helps the debilitating symptoms and pain daily
Here is to 2025. I am hoping every moment I continue to be brave and stay alive is going to be worth it. Every single day is terrifying and difficult but I want to live for more while I still can.
